Avant Car - Car rental Dubrovnik downtown

The pick-up process was incredibly smooth and stress-free. I purchased the cross-border and ferry/island package along with the carefree package since we planned to do a Balkan road trip through multiple countries. There was a temporary deposit held for potential police fines, which was fully refunded at the end of the trip without any issues. The car we received was in almost brand-new condition. Since the staff knew we would be driving across several countries, it honestly felt like they tried to provide the most reliable vehicle possible — or maybe we just got lucky lol. I traveled with my wife and a couple of friends, so we had quite a few large suitcases. We ended up removing the cargo cover to fit everything and left it at the downtown Dubrovnik office. Even though we were returning the car at Dubrovnik Airport, the staff were very accommodating and allowed us to leave the cargo cover with them without any hassle. One thing I especially appreciated was how all the travel documents were organized neatly inside a fabric folder. It made everything super convenient to store and easy to present at customs during border crossings. The return process was somehow even easier than pick-up. A young lady quickly inspected the car, which by then was pretty dirty and the fuel tank wasn’t perfectly full, but she was completely understanding about it. The entire return process took maybe 5 minutes. I was honestly amazed by how easy and pleasant the whole experience was. Highly recommended for anyone planning a road trip around the Balkans. I’ll definitely return to this beautiful region someday and rent from Avant again :)

The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and courteous.We had a flat tyre and we were in a remote area, but no problem was too big for them to resolve. The car rental service with Acant Car was outstanding and would rent with them every time I am in Europe .

The pick up / drop off point was very convinient in Rixos Hotel,customer service was friendly, professional, and responsive, while the car exceeded expectations- a new Audi A3 in excellent condition that was clean, comfortable, and a pleasure to drive throughout our Croatia and Montenegro trip. Everything was smooth, transparent, and exactly as promised. I would definitely rent from them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable car rental company in Dubrovnik.
