Kompas Rent a Car Croatia

The Kompas Rent a Car Croatia is the best car rental company that I have ever used. Since I travel a lot and always rent a car, I have lots of experience with rental car companies. Every time I've rented, there are was a problem: procedure to check in and check out was awful, car features were different from what was described, and many others. I did not find a single problem with the service that I received from Kompas. Absolutely perfect service, very friendly personnel, and, of course, a gorgeous car! I strongly recommend this car rental company. Five stars!

We have rented cars from Niksa and Miho for almost 20 years and have never had to look elsewhere as without fail they have been reliable, friendly and unwaveringly helpful. Their cars which they rent at extremely competitive prices have always been problem free and in a good condition.

100% would recommend. Kompas was very accommodating for our holiday. We booked x3 as their service was soo good. Cars arrived within 1 hour of calling and we even able to drop off at the airport. Super responsive on WhatsApp. Brilliant company!

Rented a car for a trip from Dubrovnik to Zadar. They don’t require credit card. Payment can be done by cash or debit card. Car was in good condition. You can Rent a car in one city and leave in in another city just like we did. Good contact and good prices!

I am afraid I cannot recommend this company. Having used many rental agencies I was incredibly disappointed with this one. We had booked a car for 5 people (4 adults) and 5 bags. We were to pick up in Dubrovnik, not at the airport, but close to our hotel in Lapad. We arrived at an office with no cars. A lady arrived in a Golf Taigo. This clearly was not large enough for our luggage. On questioning we were told our car had been 'rented out'!! She even stated our luggage was too large as we didn't have cabin sized suitcases. As we had checked out of our hotel and we're driving towards Split, we had no choice but to take the car with one of the bags sitting on the passengers on the back seats. On returning our car to Split airport, although Kompass claim to be one of the largest hire companies in Croatia, there is no office in Split. We had to leave the car in the car park and drop the keys with another company and 'someone' would pick the car up at 'some time'. Neither at the start or drop-off was the car checked by staff so we took photos at both times in case they came back with concerns. Very poor customer care.
