Sixt Rent a Car Dubrovnik/Hotel Rixos

Good experience with Split in Croatia, both at check-in at Split airport location a d return at the Dubrovnik downtown site (in the Rixos Hotel). Staff were friendly and the vehicle a Mercedes GLB was in good shape with no issues that needed reporting.

A huge shoutout to Nino and Visnja—they are absolutely amazing at what they do! They made the whole process super easy, smooth, and welcoming. If you want a stress-free rental, look for them!

I've rented cars all over the world and this was one of the most pleasant experiences I've had. The two women behind the counter on April 2nd, 2026 were delightful. And the gentleman in the garage was very helpful too. We rented a vehicle for 24 hours and drove to Kotor. I'm always nervous driving in new countries, but Croatia and Montenegro were very easy. Got a wonderful brand new vehicle (surprise upgrade). Pick up & drop were simple. Side note: Just get the insurance from the car rental agency. It saves a ton of hassle and protects you better in the end. If you're just trying to save $50 or $100, take the bus.

Arijana provided us with excellent service and was completely honest throughout the process. Unlike other car rental agencies, there was no pressure or hidden intentions. She was professional, polite, and attentive. I highly recommend this company. Iva also delivered great service when presenting the car, taking the time to answer all our questions with patience. Overall, we had a very positive experience and truly appreciated the professionalism of the team.

Long story but worth the shot We reserved a car for 10:00 am We arrived 30min earlier, we wait in line for more than an hour, it was terribly slow and lot of people before us seems to have problems with the people at the counter. Finally our turn... Everything seems right at the beginning, the guy at the counter didn't seem to want to be here but no problem we just want to take our car and go (reserved 2 months before for 270e) And the big problem when it come to the deposit : I made the réservation and my friend was the driver (more experienced), he doesn't have a crédit card (not usual in France) but I haved one The Guy ask a crédit card, I propose mine, he refuse because it need to be the driver apparently We propose to change the driver : he said no We propose to add a driver and use mine : he said no We propose to cancel and do a New reservation with me as a driver : he said nothing just do it yourself We tried to book a New réservation on the website but it was now more than 700e (with no garantie that the first 270e we'll be refund), for the same car, the same date and hour We said to him we just want to change the reservation with the same car waiting for us on the parking, nobody esle reserved it for the next ten days... : he said because it's a last minute réservation (for the same car......) Finally, he ask us to leave and to come back when we have a solution... Total : - no car - 270e lost - a guy who can't do anything to help ( or can't try anything because of lazyness..?) The only good point here, is There is a avantcar shop just next to it They understand our situation with sixt and propose us a car in the hour for a descent prise We left with the Keys of the avantcar car flipping around our fingers in front of the sixt shop, the guy inside Still doing nothing More over, we were refund by booking.com for the sixt car To resume : just go to the shop next to it
