DOLLAR THRIFTY - Rent a Car - Rijeka

Start with easy pick-up at their bus station office in downtown Rijeka. Surprise to get the Suzuki SUV that I wanted, and it was clean and mechanically sound. Very professional staff makes everything easy.

We hired a medium size car on 1st of August 2018, but when we arrived to collect it that morning we realise it would be too small. The staff at Dollar and Thrifty office were extremely helpful and exachanged the car for a larger model. All staff were very professional and made the whole process very easy for us. We will definitely use it again.

We rented a car from Dollar/Thrifty at Rijeka downtown, Croatia. I expected it to be difficult, timely and was a little worried about the quality of car we would receive. When we walked in, Vedran and Marin were highly professional, friendly and helpful. Worked quickly and we were in our car within about 5 minutes of arriving at the office. We were given a free upgrade and absolutely loved the car we were in for the week.

Hard to find. Inside bus station to the right. You may have to wait for the car to be driven from the airport but received personal service.

I had negotiated a price for a rental the day prior to pick up and once I got to the location to pick up my rental my credit card was swiped and charged without showing me any contract for the car and I was charged over 100 Euros more then what I was told. Do not do business with this place. All I got was an apology and that they would give me that price next time. Also I didn’t get the exact car I was told I would get.
