Avax rent a car Split Downtown

Very convenient car rental location in Split. Just a few steps from the ferry drop off point, the staff were extremely helpful in getting me to my very cool Suzuki Swift (manual transmission, per my request), and also helpful on the return. I highly recommend!

Had a great experience with Avax, picking up in Dubrovnik and dropping off in Split, with international border crossing into Bosnia & Herzegovina. They were super attentive and I appreciated them checking in with me the day before picking up to check if I had any questions. Highly recommend!!

Excellent experience with AVAX! The staff were extremely friendly and professional, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. They are very fair and don’t nitpick over tiny details when returning the car, which makes the whole experience much less stressful. Another big advantage: no security deposit was required, and they even accepted a debit card with an additional €60 fee, which is really convenient. I highly recommend taking the premium insurance option to be completely stress-free during the trip. Overall, a superb rental agency that I would gladly use again!

Great experience, genuine folks, explains things well no drama during return, I took the full insurance, best part is they don't take your credit card, so no future headaches of unnecessary deduction. We rented it for a few days pickup in split, & the drop in zagreb. Would highly recommend them, over the other in the town who we checked like Avante who were overcharging quite a lot. One small hickup I'll call out is our car got changed at the time of pickup, although from the same category, I would suggest you to do the due diligence before committing so the customers are not surprised, the car rental industry is such that you're bound to get skeptic in such situation, but all went well for us with these guys.
