Good communication (on WhatsApp), nice new car (Suzuki Swift Hybrid - the smallest car that they do) which ran well and was in very good condition. They even let me pick the car up slightly early and return slightly later without there being lots of admin and paperwork to fill out. They also allowed me to store a suitcase and bag there after returning the car for a few hours whilst I waited for a ferry. Please note that they do not take American Express.

sent a booking message and received a confirmation reply in 10 minutes with details. although it was Sundaу and most offices were closed, the guys arranged to collect me and drive to their nearest office to hand in the car. picked up the car in Zadar and dropped off in Split. no probs whatsoever. very fast paper proceeding, service at its best and great communication. highly recommended.

Rented a car from them via Car Jet. Hard to find the car rental, it is located in a parking garage inside a KIA - dealership. Polite guy meets you and gives good info. Then w got info regarding extra fee 20EUR for premium pickup (see terms and conditions at some page, should 100% be listed in the price when you book pickup at the chosen location) They also have to reserve 950 EUR from your card. As i did not have enough credit on my mastercard it had to go through my debit card. I was promised this would be transferred back maximum three days after the reservation. Took 5 days before they got transferred back. Might be normal in Croatia, never experienced this in any other country when renting a car + the casco insurance we choose on carjet (optional, but not very smart to skip this) should by my understanding cover this, so it feels a bit weird. Other than that - we got upgraded from Suzuki Swift to a Vitara, great car, as good as new and very nice to drive. The customer experience regarding hidden fees is what destroys the experience with them.

Sad to write a negative review despite all the past positive reviews. Firstly, the Split center location was difficult to find as it has no sign for Prestigio Rent a Car but rather it's inside a Kia Dealership. You also get charged more for renting from this location which we were not aware of. They go over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb, so note *make sure you point out everything even if it is the smallest scratch or chip. I also recommend taking lots pictures of the vehicle you rent. When we returned the car, they tried to say we damaged the hub cap but we did not. There was one very small white paint transfer likely from someone opening their door and hitting us. The plastic wheel area cover was also loose because a small tab on the inside broke off which was not caused from us. We did NOT get into any accident or collision but somehow we got charged for the small paint transfer and the bumper (which had no damage but a tiny superficial scratch) plus plastic wheel well protector! 600 Euros!!! I have pictures to show the tiny damages being claimed. Now we have to go through the claim process with our 3rd party rental company to get that money back. Fortunately, we used Discover Cars and they provide full coverage. We have rented well over 50 vehicles from around the world and have never experienced anything like this. The person who assisted us with the rental was nice enough and I believe he was just doing his job but this definitely left a negative impression on our trip. Sorry, I really wanted to support local but would not recommend this Split car rental
