I had a great experience with this site in Baden-Baden. I called and reserved a car by phone which was very simple as I couldn’t read the German website. The pick up and drop off were seemless. The employees were so helpful and went above and beyond to assist me. I was lucky enough to get a great car upgrade too!

Closest Avis to Roomers Baden-Baden where you have access to either a reserved vehicle or handed whatever that is available in stock. Location is easily accessible on the main road and right next to a petrol station for easy fill-ups especially when returning your rental vehicle. Highly recommend that if you want a specific make or model especially the Porsche range, make sure you get your reservation confirmed before you arrive to avoid disappointment.

I got a 75 Euro extra charge from my credit card, after not returning a booklet with my information in which I was never told had to be returned. I was given 3.5 hours to return the booklet in an email As I'm on holidays I don't check my emails every 10min. I did return an email with no response, then I was charged, without any follow-up email. Go elsewhere to hire.

I booked a car online at Avis in the beginning of March for 6 days. On the pick up date Avis employee told me by phone that the car is not available in Baden-Baden and offered to pick it up the next day from the Rastatt station. When I got my car in Rasttat, they told me that I will receive a refund for my reservation and they return me the price for 1 day reduced by "one way fee" (even though Avis offered me to pick the car in Rastatt and return it back to Baden-Baden). However, in more than 3 months after I returned the car, I still have not received my money back (139 EUR)! Visiting the Baden-Baden office were not helpful since it's employees always told to contact the customer service provided by ABG company. It is almost impossible to reach ABG by phone and I never received any responses from them by e-mail, they just sent automatic responses with the ticket numbers. Finally, I was able to reach the customer service by phone and they asked for my IBAN account and promised to issue the refund in two weeks. Almost two months have passed since then and I still have not received the refund and all my e-mails are just unanswered. Absolutely terrible service! From the positive side I can mention that the car was great and the insurance contract worked flawlessly. However, the customer service, which is called "customer care" on their website, does not really care at all! Dear Avis/ABG! Return my money back! Just rude & unpleasant when getting the car. We had reserved a baby seat and they told us when we got there that the werent sure they had one. They ended up finding one somewhere in back storage. Of course it was raining and not installed in the car so spent 20 minutes installing it as I didnt know their system. Returned the car ahead of time and dropped off the keys as indicated in the mailbox, and I've already been called twice with angry Avis representatives "where is the car, where is the car?" and telling me that I would be overcharged because the reservation was not closed.
