Avis Autovermietung - Freiburg

hello, I wanted to write a post out of gratitude for this car rental office. I had a breakdown in France and could find a way to get back home by renting a car from them. There were a lot of complications due to acceptance of payment cards. Thanks to the patience of the team, we found a way out and i could get back home with the kids. At the time i was in trouble, i could count on this AVIS reseller and really their empathy made a serious difference. Thank you Mirko especially for helping me and the kids !

Do NOT use this company under any circumstances. I did plan my trip with kids and made prepaid booking for the car. Upon arrives they did not give the car. Guy on the front was looking very suspicious and not friendly ( looks like there is mafia) They didn’t make refund and without car our trip with kids was delayed lost money on rent car and the booked hotel. Horrible place!!

Paid hundreds of dollars to reserve a car that they didn’t have, said they had no cars available even after they had processed our payment and reserved a car for the day. Completely useless staff that were incredibly rude and unhelpful, acted like it was our fault there were no cars. PLEASE DONT BOOK HERE.

I rented a car from Avis Freiburg for two days. Normally, I should have paid only 130 euros, but 28 euros + 590 euros were charged to my credit card. They was told that this was a deposit. However, they still haven’t refunded my deposit, and I can’t reach them. I will definitely never rent a car from Avis again because it’s a very stressful experience. I always rented cars from Avis in the USA. But after my experience in Freiburg, I will never rent a car from Avis again.

I rented car at Manchester airport which was prepaid via Booking.com. At the time of pickup l opted for additional insurance which was about 35 pounds / day for a total of 3’day rental and they have charged me 299 euros in addition to the 227 euros that l had already prepaid. I really don’t understand how they work? Now k have to spend my time and energy to get the amount returned to me.
