There wasn’t many car-rental choices that allow the pickup of car at the Bolzano train station, although the rental price is quite expensive by EU standards, the overall rental experience was good and smooth. The car that I’ve gotten was quite new, in good conditions, automatic transmission, easy to drive and very fuel efficient. Overall service was decent, very efficient and very smooth.

I rented a SAF vehicle for eight days (I received a Citroen C5 Aircross Hybrid). It performed excellently, providing enough power for the Sella and Giau mountain passes. It covered over 1,000 km on a single tank and showed zero brake wear due to the battery's regenerative brakes. The contract included insurance against any eventuality and has the typical clauses of any rental car company. They provide excellent service and are unbeatable on time for check-in and check-out at the Bolzano station. The vehicle arrived clean and with a full tank. I recommend washing the vehicle outside of Bolzano before returning it to the company because driving in the city center is difficult and car washes are difficult to locate. I would definitely use their services again.

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST. I felt ripped off, they tried to charged me unfairly and did not gave me a replacement car when car broke down within 5h of renting. During my rental , they did not run through term & condition and just ask me sign some docs. I rented a car for 2 days at Bolzano, within 5 hours car broke down and they tried to accuse me of spoiling, tow truck I also waited for 4-5h, taxi they said they booked we also waited for 2h++ and end up also we are the one that make the payment. There was no replacement car either and they said some nasty things about me and accusation about my country. Car also wasn’t in good condition in the first place. Multiple scratches all around the car, after we drove off then realised underneath car is secured by cable ties??? Please avoid at all cost.
