I rented a 9-seater Mercedes Vito in May 2025. I had no problems with the car, or with the rental "procedure". I reserved the car in advance on the Melania website and paid the exact price on the website.

Our rental experience was pretty good. They had a vehicle available for us at the last minute and were very professional. The car itself was great. However, if you frequently rent cars, there are some things to note that this place does differently, even from other rental places in Pitesti. First and most notable, their rental period is not 24 hours. If you rent a car on Monday at 10am and return it on Friday at 10am, you pay for FIVE days. Most places that is considered a 4 day rental and you can even return it 2 to 3 hours late at no extra cost. So that makes a significant difference in price as you're paying for an additional day. The other thing I found unusual is that you need to wash the car before returning. This was a first for me and not something I really wanted to do after a long roadtrip but ok. They were also really adamant about us refilling the Ad Blue, which was also strange because it's only sold in 5 or 10 liter bottles and the car just needed a tiny bit. I feel that's something they should do, not the renter. Like I mentioned, they're very nice and professional and made the renting process easy. Overall a pretty good experience.
