Highland Motorcycle Hire

We had a wonderful experience hiring three bikes for a week. The motorcycles (Triumph Speed Twin 900, Tiger 850 Sport, and BMW R1300GS) were well-maintained and kitted out, and we felt comfortable throughout the hiring process. We took ours to the Outer Hebrides and everything went smoothly! I’ll certainly be back if we do another trip through the Highlands and Islands. Exceptional!

We hired a brand new BMW F800 for 12 days of riding in the Scottish Highlands in May of '26. The bikes in the shop are all new-ish, with the oldest being from 2022. They are all well maintained, from what we could see. All the riding gear is provided and it is good quality, proper riding gear and as well, rain coverings were also provided. When we returned from our trip, all of our riding gear went straight into the "laundry pile" - not returned directly to the racks. The owner is super chill and very accomodating with requests. We had been concerned about it being cold so we brought a heated jacket liner and it was no problem to have the wiring harness installed. As the bikes are new, they have USB ports so you can keep your phone charged; we used Google Maps for navigation which worked quite well though there was the odd occasion where my phone lost the GPS signal, though it generally recovered quickly. I highly recommend this operator. I would also recommend booking well in advance as we had to wait to get the bike we wanted confirmed. If your plan is to ride the Highlands, there are a lot of tight turns on single track roads.

Raymond is a legend! Great bikes and great service. I’d bring my own riding gear next time but everything worked just fine. Loved the Africa Twin.

Fabulous experience hiring Africa twin. Highly recommend. Bike came with all accessories/ great clothing and to boot the most amazing roads in the world on their doorstep. Wish I could have stayed longer. Raymond was super friendly easy going. Simply the best.

Amazing place to rent a motorcycle for a once in a lifetime experience. Hugo made everything easy to set up and Raymond really took care of me when I arrived. He even picked me up and dropped me off at the train station and we had some great conversations along the way. Perfect location in the Highlands and an experience I will never forget. Highly recommend.
