Scooter Rental Hawaii on Kalākaua Ave

Easy online scooter rental!! The scooter pickup and dropoff process was easy and convenient. The scooters ran great! No problems! Staff was readily available for any questions or concerns and the scooters are SO MUCH FUN!!! Free and easy parking everywhere we went (even at our hotel parking was free). A MUST DO if you are on vacation in Hawaii!!!!

10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to scoot around or just have a quick ride. The process online was incredibly easy and I was able to do it within 10 mins of finding the website. Paid and all! Mopeds are well stocked and do vary in sizes/ styles ( I’m 6’5 and I had enough room for my knees). You’d think 49cc isn’t a lot and it’s not for going fast but for reliably cruising around this is where it’s at! Price was also surprisingly inexpensive even with premium liability insurance, prepaid gas, and a phone mount it was under 100 for a whole day. Will be less for less coverages and accessories but when exploiting the island, it’s better to be safe than sorry. The ride itself was smooth and comfortable, mpg was superb. Super cheap to fill up as well. I used it till the light came on and it only took 4$ to fill past the Full mark on the gauge. After booking they supply multiple videos on how to start, use turn signals, unlock under-seat storage, and how to lock the back wheel. Will 100% be coming back this weekend for another enjoyable trip. Thank you!!

Rental was amazing. More affordable and worth it than renting the electric scooters or bikes! Communication was very fast; especially when there were any questions or concerns! It was my first time on the islands for me and it made it very memorable for me and my family/in-laws. We rented them on my husband's birthday and he had a great time! Accessing the website was easy as well as going to get the mopeds! I would definitely recommend and I would do it again! Mahalo!

Loved everything about it — quick pickup, easy return, and the scooter was bright and fun to ride! Way better than trying to drive and find parking near the beach. Highly recommend!

I had a terrible experience with Scooter Rental Hawaii. Right from the start, I was given two different scooters that were both broken — the first wouldn’t start, and the second had serious brake issues. It was clear they don’t properly inspect or maintain their bikes before renting them out. Even worse, after returning the scooter, they charged me $545 for damage that was clearly there before I ever left the lot. Thankfully, I had taken photos of the bike before the rental, showing the damage, but they still refused to take any responsibility. So I charged back with my bank, I’d recommend doing the same after rental. It is NOT worth it. The whole situation felt like a setup to charge customers for pre-existing issues. Extremely disappointing and frustrating. I would not recommend this place to anyone — there are better, more honest rental options in Oahu. Stay away.
