Big Island Jeep Rental

Big Island Jeep for the win!!! Can’t recommend them highly enough!! I’m so glad I found them before my trip, so worth it! This is a must for the Big island. We took the Jeep to Mauna Kea summit, 4x4 required to go. Also, watch Joe’s video on the website, it’s super helpful. A must trip! I also took the Jeep to a local beach that needs 4x4 to get there and totally worth it! Makalawena beach it’s called if you want to check it out. Joe and his team feel like friends throughout the rental process. Oh and no rental insurance scams (also explained on the website). Go with Big Island Jeep, you will be stoked!

We rented a Jeep from Joe at Big Island Jeep Rentals for our week on the Big Island. We arrived and found “Madame Pele” ready to go clean, full of fuel with beach chairs and umbrellas!! Alvin from R J Taxi (recommended by Joe@ Big Island Jeep Rentals) was our ride from and back to the airport. Very punctual and friendly and a very safe driver!! I searched for Car Rentals on the Big Island and Big Island Jeep Rentals came up as one that lets you go to the summit of Mauna Kea with the Jeep. What an awesome trip that was!! Next was Volcanoes National Park-We pulled Madame Pele away from Kilauea Volcano about 9 hours before eruption 34 started… If you’re looking for CAR RENTAL on the Big Island go see Joe!! Everything is done quickly and securely online prior to pickup!!!

GREAT CAR RENTAL! Joe and his team were very helpful from day 1. Joe feels like a friend helping you out along the way. We rented the "Michael Jackson"... The whole process was as easy as ABC 123 and a real Thriller. If you want to go up Mauna Kea and explore the big island, this is your place to rent a 4x4! So worth it. We were travelling with 15 other family members and all other parties in our group that rented vehicles (with other car rental places; 2 from Touro and 1 from Expedia) had issues with their vehicles and/or their reservations... but not us!

Had an awesome experience renting with Big Island Jeep Rentals! They are reasonably priced, easy to locate, and the Jeep even came with beach chairs, a cooler, umbrella and snorkel gear! The whole team was super helpful and made everything really easy from start to finish. The Jeep was in great shape and perfect for cruising around the island (even up Mauna Kea)! Jimmy even gave us a few local tips that made the trip even better. Cannot recommend enough!

We were overjoyed to be able to rent a jeep for the day to drive up Mauna Kea. I was able to navigate the booking easily online after reaching out to them. Pick up is as good as it gets. Very easy simple instructions no hassle at all. The jeep was very clean and in great condition. We used the Granite Crystal Electric Hybrid Sahara SOFT TOP 4 door Wrangler. We have hybrids at home and very much enjoyed the use of a jeep hybrid. Of course it all became a game of how much battery we could get and use lol. We had a beautiful trip up and we couldn't have done it without Joe and his crew. Correspondence was always pleasant and prompt. Returning the jeep was easy and fast. Overall id give 10 stars for this rental for its hassle free, great product and fantastic service. Mahalo 🌺
