808 Rides in Kihei was awesome! The last time we were in Maui, my fiancée and I rented scooters for a 1 day trip, and wanted to do the same this time around. We decided to rent from a different place this time, and are so happy we did! Monica was so great with us, and even helped us with some last minute changes to our rental, and made sure we were completely comfortable on our scooters before leaving. Could not recommend this place enough and will definitely be back the next time we’re in Maui!

I own a scooter at home and although we rented a car we also rented 3 electric powered units from Matt and Monica at 808 rides. We really had a great time in Maui. The scooters personally were the touch I needed to not feel overwhelmed by the hustle of being in a resort town allowing us to whim around the area and not sit in traffic, feel trapped exc. I probably spent a hour in there deciding what I wanted to rent due to my race background and always wanting the performance side of things. Matt answered most of my questions and when it came to the nitty-gritty Monica answered all of the other ones very well. As a business owner I appreciate this business having such well trained person on staff, who cares, carries knowledge, and 10/10 is personable to discuss policies and procedures with prior to any decision making. All in all I so appreciate the 2 staff that were working. I have never been to the area but would rent from 808 agian if we came back. Thanks agian! Chris in Bend, Oregon

A buddy and I rented scooters for 24hrs and had a total blast riding around Kihei, Wailea, and Makena. Found some really cool beaches. I'd definitely recommend 808 Rides, Ross was hands down super cool dude and very knowledgeable. Gonna rent here next time I'm in Kehei.

I rented mopeds from both the Lahaina and Kihei locations during my trip to Maui and it was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. Driving the moped was an easy and fun experience and gave us a great new way to explore, take in the beautiful scenic views on our drive and discover small beaches along the way. The owner and employees were very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend renting from 808 Rides. They have excellent rates, provide everything you need and have really nice equipment. The seats on the mopeds have room to put a towel, clothes and whatever you need for the day. They also have electric bikes and scooters and larger mopeds. I absolutely loved my days on the moped and I definitely intend to rent again next time I visit. Highly recommend experience and business!

We Loved the Scooters! First. We are very skilled riders worried some of our riding buddies back home would see us on our silly baby blue Scooters bringing shame to our descendants because these pics are out there now. Don't care. Worth it. Rode 140+ miles in 10hrs. Did a lap around the north side of Maui. Road to Hana was epic. The ride through the Rainforest was the best part of our vacation. The Smells in the Rainforest were better than a flower shop. The only Neg. Maui locals don't like following a tourist and my baby blue shamecylce maxed out at only 59mph. (200cc). If you are a skilled rider the island lap is a must. Bring patience. If not skilled, rent a 50cc Scooter. Maybe even Pink. Color won't make you look any more Silly. Rock that MFer. Get pics.
