Wheelchair & Scooter Rentals of Myrtle Beach

My wife and I love coming to the beach. As of late, my wife's health is failing and we wanted to come to beach at least one more time. We checked in to our condo late Sunday afternoon, at North Myrtle Beach and I was quick to realize that my wife would not be able to make it out to the beach. I quickly searched for beach wheel chairs and "Wheelchair & Scooter Rentals Of Myrtle Beach" popped right up. I called and the associate (I'm usually very good about getting names - this time, I was not) was quick to help. She explained what she had and the rates associated with the rental - took my information and because it was late Sunday, the chair would be delivered Monday morning. The delivery man called Monday morning, told me that he delivered the chair - it was locked in the lower level of the condo garage waiting for us. I have to tell you, if it were not for this chair, my wife would not have been able to enjoy and go out to the beach, everyday we were there. It was well worth the rental rate! When we were ready to leave, we just called and had the chair ready for them to pick up the same place they dropped it off at, locked. Thank you so much for your service! My wife and I have been using this company for years while waiting on her hip replacement. They are one of the friendliest and professional companies I have had the pleasure to work with. Owner and staff are fantastic.

Cannot say enough about this company. The scooter was there waiting for me and the whole week that I had it I did not have to recharge it. It was much more reasonable than any other place in Myrtle Beach and the people were so friendly. I had to laugh a little bit because the lady came up and asked me if that was my scooter and I said yes and I thought she was just going to take it over for the next week so I told her I had to wait for my husband to come back. We had a nice chuckle about that I didn't want to give it to her if I didn't know who she was. Kudos to a great company. 🥂

my mother with a disability ordered a rental for her stay while on vacation in Myrtle Beach. She was privately renting a condominium and without disclosing that information on their site that they are only allowed to deliver to a resort check-in desk, which my mother was not affiliated with they were unable to successfully deliver the scooter. therefore she never used the scooter never set eyes upon the scooter, but they are refusing her a refund, no sympathy whatsoever to how much of her vacation was ruined because of the misunderstanding or the fact that their very very strict policy, wouldn’t let them just deliver it to the front of my mother’s building not her apartment door not her condo, literally the outside of the building so given those circumstances, my mother had no other choice, but to deny the delivery of the scooter yet they are still unwilling to refund her. I will never use or recommend this company to anyone let alone someone I care about who has a physical impairment. morally, I just do not understand how difficult it is to refund what is probably a very insignificant amount of money for their company to someone who lives on a fixed income when absolutely no services were used

⭐ 1 Star Very disappointing experience. I called ahead and was told the business was open until 8:30 PM, but when we arrived they said they close at 7:30 PM. That’s a big difference and caused us a lot of unnecessary stress trying to get there in time. On top of that, the lady working was rude and dismissive, barely looked up from her personal phone while we stood there waiting for help. Definitely not the kind of service you expect when you’re trying to rent mobility equipment. Communication and customer service need serious improvement.
