Great place to rent a Harley. Super friendly staff, well maintained bikes. Update 7/2/21: Again, EagleRider Scottsdale impressed me. I made the dumb mistake of leaving the key in the handlebar lock of my Harley rental last week. Stace, the gentleman that checked me in initially, took my call after-hours, went the extra mile by contacting the VP of West Coast Sales (or somebody like that) to get me a pin to start the bike and continue my vacation. When things go wrong, that is when you really know the true service of a company, and Harley of Scottsdale definitely impressed me.

We rented a Harley from Eagle Rider in Scottsdale, AZ. I have been riding for a long time but never rented a motorcycle. Stace was really helpful. He found the right bike for our 1 day ride and hooked us up with gear. He even had suggestions about where to ride, and he was right on! The cost was very reasonable, especially since this was a Tuesday. We had a great ride into the McDowell Mountains east of Scottsdale. It was 225 miles of pure awesomeness. The Harley Davidson Street Glide Tour was a great bike for this ride and performed flawlessly. We will be back to rent and ride again!

Easy(but expensive) rental of a 2024 Road Glide(all day)from Eagle Rider at Scottsdale, AZ. The bike had lots of miles on it(20k plus)the fairing cubbies were duck taped shut(people try pulling up instead of pushing down)found the new rear suspension to be inferior compared to my two 10 year old touring bikes. I’ve owned 5 Harleys thought this was going to be number 6, sorry. It was a good way to find out I don’t want the new ones, glad I rented first.

The new virtual check-in/out process leaves a lot to be desired. I waited for almost 45 minutes before I could raise someone on the tablet at the rental desk. That being said, once I did make contact with Spence he took care of me even though it was his day off. All-in-all I really like my Eagle Rider experience but you guys have to go back to a live person at the desk!!

I HAD AN ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT THE SCOTTSDALE LOCATION. I flew in from out of state (and have had great experiences in Utah with ER) and picked up my bike on time. I paid before I came to AZ to upgrade my bike because I needed GPS, sound system and a trunk. Once I got on location, Stace was trying hard to sell me on the upgraded roadside assistance. I told him I have AAA so I didn't need it. He proceeded to tell me how much of a pain that would be and that with their coverage if the bike broke down they would bring me out a bike on the road and get me riding. THIS COULD NOT BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH. I had a break down in the middle of the Arizona desert in Eloy and called both Stace and the emergency roadside assistance line 5 times each. Each time I was told that they were busy helping other customers and they would get to me when they could. Stace told me that he was not going to do what he had promised when he was SELLING ME THE COVERAGE but that a tow truck would be sent out and the bike would be taken to a HD dealership so a tech could look at the bike to determine the issue and THEN he would make a decision. Stace was belligerent and rude on the phone and told me that I was lying about what he promised me. I then called the area manager, Stone and he had the same attitude and actually got in a yelling match with me and then he hung up on me. I was the only one renting in my tour group so our entire group sat at a gas station for over 4 hours waiting for a tow truck. The tow truck shows up and heads for Tucson. As we get into Tucson we pass right by the main and nearest HD dealership and go to another smaller dealership an ADDITIONAL 30 MINUTES FURTHER. The service manager at Old Pueblo HD comes out and can tell before the bike was even unloaded that it was unsafe for me to ride. He verifies that with Stace and Stace tells me that he will send me another bike. 3.5 HOURS LATER THE WRONG BIKE ROLLS UP! I PAID EXTRA FOR THE STREET GLIDE TOURING and they brought me a ROAD KING! No: GPS, sound system or trunk. At this point I farm out as much of my gear as I can to the rest of my group but that isn’t much because they are all packed up for this trip and then I HAD TO THROW AWAY $220 OF MY GEAR! Stace told me he had my exact bike at his location to replace my bike however Bob (the delivery guy) tells me that he brought this bike from another location FURTHER AWAY from my current location than the Scottsdale location I rented at. This tells me that Stace and Stone purposely gave me the wrong bike when a Street Glide was available just to be jerks. I noticed that the battery light was on and the volt gauge was quite low at 7:50AM that day and called in to report it. We finally got back on the road at 8:17PM! MY ENTIRE GROUP LOST AN ENTIRE DAY OF OUR TOUR. I don’t have a problem with the fact that the bike broke down – they do sometimes however the way this was handled and the behavior of Stace Loehr and Roger Stone was completely unprofessional and uncalled for. Then when I dropped off the bike I requested a refund on the bike upgrade (because I didn’t get that bike), 1 day of rental (because I lost an entire day due to this BS) and a refund of the upgraded roadside assistance (because it was misrepresented) but was told that they would only refund $100. When all was said and done no refund at all and I had to dispute some charges with my CC company to get any refund at all. So disappointing.
