TLDR; just go ahead and book. You will be in great hands! The bike (GS1250) was great. Excellent condition: clean, full tank of gas, brand new tires, no damage. The rented gear was all good as well. That alone deserves a five-star review, but please keep reading. My experience with Glenn (the owner) started weeks before my trip. We began talking on WhatsApp, and he took genuine interest in my plans and where I was staying. He quickly realized that my central San Diego accommodation was a bad idea for my explore-all-the-nature plans. This guy really went above and beyond. Together, we searched for the perfect (but still budget-friendly!) accommodation. I felt bad for taking up his time :D but in the end, it was PERFECT: a little boutique resort right by the beach in Carlsbad. He was kind enough to pick me up from resort when I arrived, and was flexible about bike pick-up time. He gave me detailed route advice, food recommendations, which roads to ride, and what to skip. Because of him, I explored this beautiful area properly, not like a tourist guessing my way around. Thank you, Glenn, for not just renting a great bike, but for enabling the entire experience! After three days on the GS, I rented a HD Street Glide for another three days. All chrome polished and in perfect condition. Glenn didn’t just hand me the keys, he gave me proper advice and a thorough orientation for my first cruiser experience - what to expect, how it feels, what’s different. We had a rainy day ahead, but I was too fat for all the pants he had :D Instead of shrugging it off, he ordered multiple new pairs just to make sure I had the right fit. Thanks Glenn, my fat ass is grateful! I also needed to extend my insurance - he took care of it. I wanted to extend the rental - he accommodated me at a fair price. After everything, Glenn genuinely feels like a friend, not just a motorcycle rental guy!

I had an experience today that reminded me how important it is to rent from quality, professional businesses. I rented a motorcycle from a private owner, and although the tire already looked a bit worn when I picked up the bike, I was assured that if anything happened it would be taken care of. About 120 miles away from where I rented the bike, the rear tire suddenly started showing wires and became extremely dangerous to ride. I was essentially stranded far from where I started. When I contacted the person who rented me the motorcycle, I was told to ride the bike back to him despite the tire being in a condition where every mile felt like a risk of a blowout. While calling around trying to find a shop that could help, I came across Glenn. Even though I wasn’t his customer, he took the time to come to where I was, check the situation, and guide me to a shop that could replace the tire. What impressed me the most was that when the person who rented me the bike hesitated about covering the tire replacement, Glenn even offered to help pay for it himself because he didn’t want me continuing my trip on a dangerous tire. That level of kindness, professionalism, and concern for someone’s safety is incredibly rare. Glenn didn’t ask for anything in return and simply wanted to make sure I was safe and able to continue my trip. If you’re thinking about renting a motorcycle, this experience alone shows why renting from a professional and responsible business matters. Glenn went above and beyond to help a complete stranger, and I’m incredibly grateful. Thank you again.

I had an outstanding experience renting a Harley Davidson Road Glide from Glenn at Route 101 Motorsports in San Diego. I rented the bike for four days, and everything from start to finish was handled professionally and exactly as promised. Glenn is the man!! Bikes were immaculate and rode like they were brand new from the dealership. He was very accommodating and quickly responded to all requests. Prices were well beyond fair. He definitely cares about the bikes but even more so his customers and their safety. Will absolutely be doing business here again!
