Had a great Motorcycle tour of Cali. The guide really put me at ease as it was my first time riding in Colombia (and in Australia we ride on the other side of the road). Bike was good. Lovely waterfall + a visit up to the Christo Res statue. I recommend 👍

The easiest and most economical motorcycle rental I’ve seen in Latam. Lots of options and flexibility with rental plans

I had an amazing 5+ motorcycle tour experience with Alejandro at Motos Cali. My bike was a battle hardened Honda CBF 125 that took me over KM18 and into Lake Calima. Took the best potholes Cali could throw at it too. Alejandro spoke perfect English and was in constant contact with me like a friend and travel partner, he knew all the special spots that were safe to park a bike, Fincas to stop at, etc. I went to a private waterfall in south Cali, the drive was spectacular… Motos Cali had three different styles of Motos. A street bike, an enduro dual sport, and an automatic scooter. The check out was easy, and he had several clean helmets to try on. He gave me the registration and proof of insurance, SOAT. We went on a check ride to get a few supplies at Dollar City and I was off. My CBF125 was a champion, even in the rain, a few dirt roads, and the notorious Cali potholes. I rented for a week and had a perfect 5-star experience. He returned my deposit immediately. Thank you to my new friend Alejandro for keeping me safe!

Great and fair prices. Super legit providing every thing you need to ride legitimately, including a helmet. Responds quick. If they had a bigger inventory it would be perfect, so book early.

Rented a bike from Alejandro for 18 days. It was awesome. The bike was brand new in perfect condition and I traveled with my kite boarding gear on it. Also perfect for a second passenger. Freeway speeds no problem. Payment was easy and secure. Bike was insured with correct documentation so if you get stopped by transit cops no issues (just make sure you wear a helmet) 😉 Anyway it was a rad trip super easy to pick up and drop off I highly recommend Alejandro’s business if you are trying to ride in Valle Del Cauca

This review is intended to warn others to avoid this motorcycle rental service. From the very beginning, our experience was problematic and ultimately felt deceptive. A group of four of us arranged the rental nearly a month in advance, agreeing on three motorcycles: a V-Strom 600, a Royal Enfield 400, and a Honda XR190, for which we paid a deposit. A few days before arrival, we requested a fourth bike and were told that only a 125cc XTZ was available, which we accepted. Upon arrival, several issues became immediately apparent. Although drivable, the motorcycles were in poor, worn condition and clearly not well maintained. More concerning, the agreed Honda XR190 was not available and was replaced with a lower-spec XR150, yet we were still expected to pay the original price. This downgrade without price adjustment is unacceptable. We were also informed at pickup that card payments were not accepted, and that the full rental amount had to be paid in cash. For tourists, this creates unnecessary financial burden due to withdrawal fees and currency exchange costs. This should have been clearly communicated in advance. The condition of the motorcycles raised safety concerns. The XR150 had rear brakes that didn’t work properly and a dangerously faulty throttle that accelerated in both directions. The chains across multiple bikes were also in poor condition, clearly indicating a lack of proper maintenance. Despite these issues and after we have requested for some work to be done on the bikes, we felt pressured to proceed, as our entire trip had been planned around this tour. To make matters worse, the owner, Alex, was not present at pickup, causing delays while partial and inadequate fixes were attempted on the spot. Also very important, we paid for a five-day rental but returned the motorcycles after four days due to safety concerns and overall dissatisfaction, something that should not happen with a professional rental service. The owner of the shop was from day one trying to claim our deposit and at the end he of course made up some ridiculous excuses to not return the deposit. In summary, this experience was defined by poor communication, substandard and unsafe equipment, last-minute changes, and questionable business practices. From the outset, there were signs of mismanagement and attempts to shift terms in their favour, including what felt like positioning to dispute or retain deposits. We have documented evidence, including messages and screenshots, and are willing to share these with anyone considering this provider. I strongly advise others to avoid this service

I strongly do not recommend this service. From the very beginning, the process was problematic and very disappointing. Our group of four arranged the rental nearly a month in advance, agreeing on three motorcycles (a V-Strom 600, a Royal Enfield 400, and a Honda XR190) and paying a deposit. A few days before arrival, we asked for a fourth bike and were offered a 125cc XTZ, which we accepted. Upon arrival, several issues became clear. The motorcycles could be driven, but they were in poor condition and not well maintained. More importantly, the Honda XR190 we agreed on was not available and was replaced with a lower-spec XR150, but we were still asked to pay the same price. This kind of last-minute change without lowering the price is not acceptable. We were also told only at pickup that card payments were not accepted and that we had to pay everything in cash. For international travelers, this is inconvenient and should have been clearly explained in advance. At that point, we understood that things were not as agreed and that the situation was not good. However, we had traveled from far away and our whole trip was planned around this rental, so we decided to continue and take the motorcycles anyway. All this miscommunication, the poor condition of the bikes, and the fact that Alejandro was not there — only a young employee who was kind but had to communicate with Alejandro by phone to explain everything — cost us a lot of time and delayed the start of our trip. The condition of the motorcycles raised serious safety concerns. The XR150 had weak brakes and a faulty throttle. The XTZ 125 had two punctures during the trip. Many times, we had to go to local mechanics ourselves just to keep the bikes working — something customers should not have to do. Chains and other parts on several bikes were also in bad condition, showing a lack of proper maintenance. Communication was poor and confusing. Alejandro often said different things on the phone than in messages, and his actions did not match what he said. He also kept telling us that we would not find these prices anywhere else, which felt like pressure, especially since we paid a lot of money. If we had known the real situation and how things would be handled, we would have chosen a different rental company, even if it cost double. The deposit was also a big problem. From the start and again at the end, there were many attempts to keep it. Part of the deposit was kept to pay mechanics, even though maintenance should be the responsibility of the rental company. In the end, the deposit was not returned. Although we paid for five days, we were pushed to return the motorcycles earlier and at specific times. We had to return them on Friday midday, even though we paid for the full day. This affected our plans and we could not finish our trip as planned. In the end, we returned the motorcycles after four days because of safety concerns and overall dissatisfaction — something that should not happen with a rental service. Overall, the experience included poor communication, unsafe motorcycles, last-minute changes, and unfair behavior. Update after owner’s response: Alejandro, you continue to change the facts to make everything look correct from your side. From the first day, nothing was as agreed. We have rented motorcycles in many countries, and this is the first time we leave such a review. You never told us we were not allowed any off-road section. There was only a very small part. Any damage you mention is due to the poor condition of the bikes. During use and at return, nothing was reported or indicated. We did not abandon the motorcycles. After the second puncture, we called you and agreed you would collect them. We also paid extra for returning them to a different location. You asked us to return the bikes early Friday midday ,even though we paid for 5 full days, with the threat of keeping our deposit. We followed your instructions. Instead of refunding unused days, you kept the deposit. The whole situation cost us time and money and ruined our trip.
